This oil is pressed from hand picked, early harvested olives in the Kalamata region of the Peleponese peninsula. Stone mills are used in the traditional production process to yield an oil of typical Greek character - fresh, green herbal tones with plenty of fruit and a lingering peppery finish.
The PDO provenance ensures that that only local olives and traditional methods are used. Each tin is individually numbered.
