Made from the Grenache grape just where the Pyrenees plunge into the Mediterranean Sea. Sweet Banyuls wine is matured in huge oak barrels for at least four years to produce a spicy, nutty vinegar with a lovely warm gingerbread finish. Adds sweetness and piquancy to cooked meats, soups and sauces. |
